Japanese Yukimi (snow viewing) Model Decorative Lanterns with optional LED light

3d printed Japanese decorative ornamental model lanterns in a range of different sizes and colours.
Printed in PLA bioplastic filament.

Choice of two sizes:
Standard approx. 12cm tall x 9cm wide
Mini approx. 7cm tall x 5cm wide

Choice of colour: white, black, grey marble effect

The standard lanterns have a diffuser inside to filter light passing through and create a glowing effect.
These standard lanterns can be supplied with a battery powered LED nightlight as an optional extra.
Battery not included.
Mini lanterns are not supplied with an optional light, but could be fitted with an LED bulb as part of a diorama etc.

These lanterns are individually printed in the UK by us at the Kimono Garden.

Note - as the lanterns are individually printed there may be slight variations between the prints.
Please only use artificial nightlights as proximity to hot flames will damage the lantern.
3D prints are built up in layers. There will be some visible layering due to the nature of the printing process.
Care of your lantern: do not expose to extremes of high or low temperatures or humidity.
Batteries not included.

Warning: These are decorative items and not toys. These should not be given to young children as small parts could be a choking hazard.
The lanterns are quite sturdy but can break if dropped or subjected to force.

Vintage Japanese tomesode kimono, black with five mon.

Women's tomesode kimono. Black chirimen silk crepe with white lining.
This is a formal style of kimono, traditionally worn by married women and geisha.
The decoration is found on the lower part of the kimono only.
Design of cranes standing by a river, with five chigai takanoha crests (crossed hawk feathers).
Two mon (crests) on front panels, three on back panels.

Design of wisteria and pine trees, with five marunikatabami crests (wood sorrel flower inside a circle).
Two mon (crests) on front panels, three on back panels.

Japanese style geta.
Traditional style lightweight laquered paulownia wood geta clogs for wearing with kimono or yukata.
Padded toe thongs in greenish blue wave pattern fabric.
Rubber sole.
Square toe, men's traditional style.
 
Size: 25cm long, 10cm wide.
Uk size approx. 6-8

Material: paulownia wood base with rubber sole, cotton and synthetic toe thong.

Age: pre-owned, unused

Condition: unused, as new

Vintage Japanese kimono, brown with squares pattern.
Men's vintage silk kimono. Lightweight mid brown silk with pattern of brown squares and white dots.
Dark blue lining.

Size: Length 131cm. Sleeve to sleeve 123cm. Sleeve length 50cm. Shoulder width 65cm.

Material: silk

Age: vintage/used

Condition: fairly good. Marks on lining near lower hem, small hole in lining,
small amount of fraying on back seam, water mark on upper back (see photos).

Women's tomesode kimono. Black chirimen silk crepe with stunning red silk lining.
This is a formal style of kimono, traditionally worn by married women and geisha.
The decoration is found on the lower part of the kimono only.
Design of cranes and flowers, with five ageha cho crests (swallowtail butterfly).
Two mon (crests) on front panels, three on back panels.
Red silk three-quarter lining, the decoration extends onto the inside of the kimono
below the lining.
 
Size: Length 139cm. Sleeve to sleeve 132cm. Sleeve length 52cm.

Condition: very good. There is some fading inside the collar and a small mark on the lining (see photos)

Antique Japanese doro-oshima tsumugi kimono, navy blue.
Men's antique doro-oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark navy blue pattern and plain blue silk lining. The silk has a greenish sheen when it reflects the light.
Very good condition for its age. Some stains on front panel (see photos) and wear to collar.
Size: Length 135cm. Sleeve to sleeve 130cm. Sleeve length 48cm.

Material: silk oshima-tsumugi

Age: antique/used (pre-1950s)

Condition: good. Yellow staining on front panel (see photos). Wear on edges of collar.

Women's tomesode kimono. Black chirimen silk crepe with creamy white soft silk lining.
This is a formal style of kimono, traditionally worn by married women and geisha.
The decoration is found on the lower part of the kimono only.
Design of pine needles floating in a stream, with five omodaka crests (encircled water plantain).
Two mon (crests) on front panels, three on back panels.
Some of the pine needles are edged with gold coloured ribbon.
