Men's vintage silk kimono. Lightweight brown silk with uroko pattern of red, dark blue and cream triangles and plain dark blue lining.
The uroko pattern is designed to resemble snake or fish scales.

Men's vintage oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark blue with kasuri pattern. The lining is a dark purplish blue colour.

Condition: very good. Some wear on shoulder seams and small pulls in fabric (see photos).
Vintage Japanese Itsutsumon kimono, men's black silk with crests.
Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon kimono. Black with five white crests and plain cream silk half lining.
Soft silk with a nice drape.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is Maruni chigai takanoha, two crossed falcon feathers.

Condition: very good. There are small pale marks on the collar and on the back (see photos),
these are not very noticeable.
Men's vintage oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark indigo blue with fortune hexagon pattern and plain blue silk lining. This is a traditional dark indigo colour, but may appear lighter in the photos.

Condition: excellent. No obvious marks or damage.
Men's vintage oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Brown with fortune hexagon pattern and plain dark blue lining. The brown silk has a silvery-grey sheen when it catches the light.
This is a tsumugi weave which has a slightly irregular texture, these are not flaws in the fabric.

Men's vintage habutai plain silk kimono. Plain blue/grey silk outer and dark blue half lining.
Lightweight plain silk with a nice drape. Suitable for summer wear or use under an unlined kimono.
Good condition. Some marks on lining and small watermarks on the back (see photos).

Condition: good. Marks on inner lining and small watermarks on back panel (see photos).
Men's antique tsumugi silk kimono. Dark brown with pattern of white squares and grids.
Royal blue lining.
Tsumugi silk has an irregular weave, there are some areas where this is very noticeable (see photos).
Please note - this kimono is a dark brown colour, but some of the photos may appear quite blue.
The kimono does have a bluish tint in some lights.

Vintage Japanese Itsutsumon marunikatabami kimono, men's black silk with crests.
Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon marunikatabami kimono.
Black with five white crests and plain dark purplish blue lining.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is Marunikatabami, a wood sorrel flower inside a circle.

Condition: Excellent. There is a little loose stitching under the arms.
Vintage black Japanese Itsutsumon kimono, with crests.
Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon kimono. Black with five white crests and plain dark blue lining.
Soft habutae silk with a nice drape.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is maru ni mokko (encircled quince flower),
this is one of the crests used by Oda Nobunaga.

Men's vintage silk kimono. Lightweight mid brown silk with pattern of brown squares and white dots.
Dark blue lining.

Condition: fairly good. Marks on lining near lower hem, small hole in lining,
small amount of fraying on back seam, water mark on upper back (see photos).

Antique Japanese doro-oshima tsumugi kimono, navy blue.
Men's antique doro-oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark navy blue pattern and plain blue silk lining. The silk has a greenish sheen when it reflects the light.
Very good condition for its age. Some stains on front panel (see photos) and wear to collar.

Men's vintage silk kimono. Bright blue tsumugi silk with kasuri dot pattern and plain dark bluish purple lining.
This is a brighter blue than the more usual indigo kimono (note the colour may appear brighter on some displays).
Small pulls in the fabric are part of the weave and not a flaw.
