Men's vintage oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark indigo blue with fortune hexagon pattern and plain dark blue silk lining.
Please note this kimono is a traditional dark indigo blue colour, but may look lighter and more greenish in the photos.

Antique Japanese doro-oshima tsumugi kimono, navy blue.
Men's antique doro-oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark navy blue pattern and plain blue silk lining. The silk has a greenish sheen when it reflects the light.
Very good condition for its age. Some stains on front panel (see photos) and wear to collar.
Size: Length 135cm. Sleeve to sleeve 130cm. Sleeve length 48cm.

Condition: good. Yellow staining on front panel (see photos). Wear on edges of collar.
Women's vintage colourful tsumugi silk kimono with green, red and blue kikko (tortoise shell) and flower designs.
Tsumugi is a style of weave with a noticeable texture, these are not flaws or damage to the fabric.
Lining cream and red silk.

Condition: generally very good. The outer fabric and lower lining are excellent. The upper cream coloured lining has discolouration and yellow marks overall (see photos)
Women's vintage rinzu silk kimono. Beautiful soft and shiny rinzu silk fabric with a lovely drape. Yellow, pink and greenish colour gradation.
Lining white and red silk.
Size: Length 158cm. Sleeve to sleeve 132cm. Sleeve length 48cm.

Women's vintage unlined omeshi crepe silk kimono. White background with red and blue designs.
Omeshi weave has crinkled texture and harder feel than some other silk fabrics.

Women's vintage colourful silk kimono with check pattern of wide red lines and narrower green and white lines on a black background. Lovely kimono in excellent condition.
Upper lining is plain white silk. Lower lining is red oshima tsumugi silk.

with blue and red geometric patterns in vertical stripes.

Condition: good. There is a large water mark and some small starch marks on the upper lining.
There is some discoloration to the front and back collar (see photos).
Vintage Japanese Itsutsumon kimono, men's black silk with crests.
Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon kimono. Black with five white crests and plain cream silk half lining.
Soft silk with a nice drape.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is Maruni chigai takanoha, two crossed falcon feathers.

Condition: very good. There are small pale marks on the collar and on the back (see photos),
these are not very noticeable.

Men's vintage silk kimono. Lightweight mid brown silk with pattern of brown squares and white dots.
Dark blue lining.

Condition: fairly good. Marks on lining near lower hem, small hole in lining,
small amount of fraying on back seam, water mark on upper back (see photos).
Men's vintage tsumugi silk kimono.
Plain dark brown tsumugi silk with a textured weave and plain dark blue lining.
This is a tsumugi weave which has an irregular texture, these are not flaws in the fabric.
This kimono is in a generally very nice condition, but has some faded patches which could be visible in wear.

Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon marunikatabami kimono.
Black with five white crests and plain dark purplish blue lining.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is Marunikatabami, a wood sorrel flower inside a circle.

Condition: Excellent. There is a little loose stitching under the arms.

Men's vintage silk kimono. Dark blue tsumugi silk with plain dark bluish purple lining.
Small pulls in the fabric are part of the weave and not a flaw.
The lining is faded along the centre (see photos).

This is quite a small sized kimono.

High quality print on silk fabric.
The print is mounted on decorative cream and gold coloured background on a green and gold coloured silk scroll.
Brown hanging ribbon and scroll rod attached.

This is a lovely pink colour which shows different shades as it catches the light.
This style of obi is not fully patterned. The section that is not visible in wear is plain pink.
This antique obi is in excellent condition for its age, there are some small marks on the unpatterned section which are not visible in wear (see photos).
