Vintage Japanese men's haori with shogunate parade design.
Men's haori jacket. This is a dark blue tsumugi silk fabric with shogunate parade design on inner lining.
Note - the layout of the fabric means the design is upside-down on the inner front panels.
Himo ties attached - non-matching, one blue and one purple, not tied.

Condition: excellent (small watermarks on front panel lining - see photos)

Cotton yukata for summer and festival wear. White cotton shoulder and seat lining.
White background with very dark indigo blue pattern of chrysanthemum flowers and hexagonal grid.

Vintage Japanese men's haori with handpainted farmhouse and mountain  design.
Men's haori jacket. Dark blue tsumugi silk fabric in heavyweight rough-textured weave with with a handpainted design of a rural farmhouse and volcanic mountain on inner lining.
Dark blue silk himo ties attached (not tied).

Size: Length 90cm. Sleeve to sleeve 134cm. Weight approx. 720g.

Material: silk tsumugi (note this is a rough-textured silk, the nubs are not flaws in the fabric)

Age: vintage/used (1970s-80s)

Condition: good, but there is some discolouration and starch spots on the inner lining (see photos)

Men's haori jacket. Dark brown tsumugi silk fabric in lightweight oshima tsumugi weave with design of cooking pots on lining.
Brown and yellow patterned himo ties attached (not tied)

Size: Length 113cm. Sleeve to sleeve 129cm. Sleeve length 51cm. Shoulder width 62cm.

Material: silk oshima tsumugi (note this is a rough-textured silk, the nubs are not flaws in the fabric)

Condition: good. There are some small holes and damage to inside lining on sleeve (see photos)
The silk is quite delicate.

Antique Japanese doro-oshima tsumugi kimono, navy blue.
Men's antique doro-oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark navy blue pattern and plain blue silk lining. The silk has a greenish sheen when it reflects the light.
Very good condition for its age. Some stains on front panel (see photos) and wear to collar.
Size: Length 135cm. Sleeve to sleeve 130cm. Sleeve length 48cm.

Material: silk oshima-tsumugi

Age: antique/used (pre-1950s)

Condition: good. Yellow staining on front panel (see photos). Wear on edges of collar.

Vintage Japanese Itsutsumon marunikatabami kimono, men's black silk with crests.
Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon marunikatabami kimono.
Black with five white crests and plain dark purplish blue lining.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is Marunikatabami, a wood sorrel flower inside a circle.

Size: Length 130cm. Sleeve to sleeve 128cm. Sleeve length 51cm. Shoulder width 65cm.

Condition: Excellent. There is a little loose stitching under the arms.

Men's haori jacket. Dark blue tsumugi silk fabric in fortune hexagon pattern with with books and calligraphy design on inner lining. (Please note this item is a dark navy blue colour and looks lighter in the photos!)
Dark blue silk himo ties attached.

Vintage black Japanese Itsutsumon kimono, with crests.
Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon kimono. Black with five white crests and plain dark grey lining.
Soft habutae silk with a nice drape.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is maru ni ken katabami (encircled wood sorrel flower with swords).
The lining is a dark purplish grey colour.

Size: Length 129cm. Sleeve to sleeve 138cm. Sleeve length 46cm. Shoulder width 68cm.

Condition: very good. The white crests have been slightly marked by black dye from the kimono,
(see photos).
