This style of obi is not fully patterned. The section that is not visible in wear is a plain creamy white colour.

Men's haori jacket. Dark brown tsumugi silk fabric in heavyweight rough-textured weave with with a patterned silk inner lining.

Antique Japanese doro-oshima tsumugi kimono, navy blue.
Men's antique doro-oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark navy blue pattern and plain blue silk lining. The silk has a greenish sheen when it reflects the light.
Very good condition for its age. Some stains on front panel (see photos) and wear to collar.

Women's vintage kimono. Background of black and white mix in an irregular tsumugi weave giving a grey colour,
with blue and red geometric patterns in vertical stripes.
Upper lining white silk, lower lining red silk.

Condition: good. There is a large water mark and some small starch marks on the upper lining.
There is some discoloration to the front and back collar (see photos).
Women's vintage black and red silk kimono with lines of various geometric patterns.
Upper lining pale creamy white silk, lower lining red silk.

Condition: fairly good. The outside and lower inner lining are in excellent condition.
The upper inner cream lining has rust stains from contact with the press-stud used to secure the collar
and yellow starch marks. The back part of the upper lining is very thin and starting to wear through (see photos).
The damage and marks on the upper lining would not be visible in wear, but affects the overall condition of the kimono.

Men's vintage black silk itsutsumon kimono. Black with five white crests and plain dark blue lining.
Soft habutae silk with a nice drape.
Two crests on front panels, three on back and shoulder panels.
The crest is maru ni mokko (encircled quince flower),
this is one of the crests used by Oda Nobunaga.

Cream colour upper lining, grey lower lining.
Fairly good condition for its age. Some marks and small pull (see photos).

some yellowing and marks to collar and back of right sleeve,

Men's vintage tsumugi silk kimono. Dark indigo blue with fortune hexagon pattern and plain blue lining. This is a traditional dark indigo colour, which has a slightly greenish sheen when it catches the light.
Tsumugi silk has an irregular weave, this is not damage to the fabric.

The edges are picked out in a gold colour which has a lovely sparkle where it catches the light.
