Men's vintage tsumugi silk kimono. Dark indigo blue with fortune hexagon pattern and plain blue lining. This is a traditional dark indigo colour, which has a slightly greenish sheen when it catches the light.
Tsumugi silk has an irregular weave, this is not damage to the fabric.
Size: Length 142cm. Sleeve to sleeve 134cm. Sleeve length 47.5cm. Weight 640g.

Men's antique tsumugi silk kimono. Dark brown with pattern of white squares and grids.
Royal blue lining.
Tsumugi silk has an irregular weave, there are some areas where this is very noticeable (see photos).
Please note - this kimono is a dark brown colour, but some of the photos may appear quite blue.
The kimono does have a bluish tint in some lights.

Men's vintage oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark indigo blue with fortune hexagon pattern and plain dark blue silk lining.
Please note this kimono is a traditional dark indigo blue colour, but may look lighter and more greenish in the photos.
Size: Length 142cm. Sleeve to sleeve 128cm. Sleeve length 51cm. Weight 690g.

Condition: very good, a few pulled threads (see photos)

Condition: fairly good. Marks on lining near lower hem, small hole in lining,
small amount of fraying on back seam, water mark on upper back (see photos).
Vintage Japanese tomesode kimono, black with five mon.
Women's tomesode kimono. Black chirimen silk crepe with white lining.
This is a formal style of kimono, traditionally worn by married women and geisha.
The decoration is found on the lower part of the kimono only.
Design of wisteria and pine trees, with five marunikatabami crests (wood sorrel flower inside a circle).
Two mon (crests) on front panels, three on back panels.

Antique Japanese doro-oshima tsumugi kimono, navy blue.
Men's antique doro-oshima-tsumugi silk kimono. Dark navy blue pattern and plain blue silk lining. The silk has a greenish sheen when it reflects the light.
Very good condition for its age. Some stains on front panel (see photos) and wear to collar.
Size: Length 135cm. Sleeve to sleeve 130cm. Sleeve length 48cm.

Condition: good. Yellow staining on front panel (see photos). Wear on edges of collar.
Vintage Japanese tomesode kimono, black with five mon.
Women's tomesode kimono. Black chirimen silk crepe with creamy white soft silk lining.
This is a formal style of kimono, traditionally worn by married women and geisha.
The decoration is found on the lower part of the kimono only.
Design of pine needles floating in a stream, with five omodaka crests (encircled water plantain).
Two mon (crests) on front panels, three on back panels.
Some of the pine needles are edged with gold coloured ribbon.

Women's vintage colourful tsumugi silk kimono with green, red and blue kikko (tortoise shell) and flower designs.
Tsumugi is a style of weave with a noticeable texture, these are not flaws or damage to the fabric.
Lining cream and red silk.

Condition: generally very good. The outer fabric and lower lining are excellent. The upper cream coloured lining has discolouration and yellow marks overall (see photos)
Antique Japanese men's haori with design of a dragon and tiger.
Men's haori jacket in light grey textured tsumugi silk.
The design is a dragon and tiger in front of a mountain, picked out in gold colour.
There are no hino ties attached.
As there are several discoloured marks on the outside, this haori would be less suitable for wearing
and more suitable for decorative display or crafting materials.
Note - the colour is pale grey, some photos have a more purple tint from the light.

Women's vintage black and red silk kimono with lines of various geometric patterns.
Upper lining pale creamy white silk, lower lining red silk.

Age: vintage/used
Condition: fairly good. The outside and lower inner lining are in excellent condition.
The upper inner cream lining has rust stains from contact with the press-stud used to secure the collar
and yellow starch marks. The back part of the upper lining is very thin and starting to wear through (see photos).
The damage and marks on the upper lining would not be visible in wear, but affects the overall condition of the kimono.
